Here in Hastings, I’m working on a video who try to reproduce the subjective vision of a drowning man (interpreted by Guy Dennis) trying to swim to the coast. This images is a bit like a promise, almost a contemplative desperate mirage of the shore and would be a tribute to all the victims of the sea. This work speaks about the relationship between man and nature, but also about the sea as a barrier not only physical but also political, as may be in the case of the migrants, for example.                                           Equipped with a GoPro camera mounted on a Oktomask, Guy Dennis is going to lend us his eyes swimming in front of the coast of Hastings.

Qui ad Hastings, sto lavorando ad un video che cerca di riprodurre la visione soggettiva di un naufrago (interpretato da Guy Dennis) che cerca di raggiungere la costa a nuoto. Quest’immagine è un po’ come una promessa, quasi un disperato contemplativo miraggio della costa, e vorrebbe essere anche un omaggio a tutte le vittime del mare. Questo lavoro parla della relazione tra l’essere umano e la natura e anche del mare come barriera non solo fisica ma anche politica, come nel caso di molti migranti, per esempio.                                                                                                                                                                 Equipaggiato con un una GoPro montata su una Oktomask, Guy Dennis ci presterà i suoi occhi nuotando di fronte alla costa di Hastings.
